Parliament approves KP emergency; joint sitting on governor's rule set for today
The National Assembly and the Senate on Wednesday approved the President's 11 October proclamation of emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while PTI rejected the move and walked out of the Senate. A joint sitting of Parliament has been summoned for Thursday, where governor's rule under Article 234 is expected to be taken up.
