WHO sets 2030 goal for countries to detect emerging outbreaks within 24 hours
WHO's Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence Hub has launched a five-year strategy aiming for every country to detect and understand emerging health threats within 24 hours by 2030. It is a target, not a capability already achieved.
